ABOUT GARNET
Each distinctively designed piece of furniture in the Garnet Trading Co. Cottage Collection is produced from plantation grown solid hardwoods that are harvested, kiln dried, and then delivered to hundreds of small workshops located throughout central Java, Indonesia.
TRADITIONAL WOODWORKING
Using woodworking techniques passed down from generation to generation, these craftsmen produce unique solid wood furniture. Since each piece is handmade, no two are exactly the same. This type of manufacturing is referred to as “cottage industry manufacturing” and, with little overhead, allows for fantastic bargains on unique handcrafted furniture.
